The Kerala State Election Commission has released the final electoral roll, totaling 2,69,53,644 voters after a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) by the Election Commission of India, which resulted in a net deletion of 8,97,211 names compared to the previous roll. While 53,229 names were removed for specific reasons like death or relocation, the SIR process is ongoing, with over 400,000 applications for new inclusions, deletions, and corrections received between January 31 and February 16, some of which will be reflected in a supplementary roll. Voters whose names have been deleted can appeal the decision in a two-stage process before the District Election Officer and Chief Electoral Officer, and new applications for inclusion can be submitted until the nomination deadline; citizens are encouraged to verify their names and details on the SEC website, which also provides access to the Absentee, Shifted, Dead (ASD) list and polling station information.
