While pronouncing the order, Justice PT Asha observed that the complaint raised against the film appeared to be an afterthought.
The announcement comes on a day when the Madras High Court reserved its order on a petition seeking a direction to the CBFC to grant a ‘UA 16+’ censor certificate to the film, which is widely speculated to be Vijay’s final outing as an actor.
The petitioners urged the court to quash the Board’s order and direct it to reconsider their certification request at the earliest.
In response, JVJ Productions, the film’s producer, has approached the Kerala High Court.
This update comes after the movie secured a U/A certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
