Hello
Tharoor says the ground realities, which he could feel during his campaign tours across the state, is contrary to the results of the pre-poll surveys, which predict another term for LDF.
The party is set to roll out a facility with which the voters can reach all the 140 candidates of the Congress-led United Democratic Front, and submit their suggestions or proposals for the constituency.
Tharoor said the trend in Kerala is clearly in favour of the UDF and he expects a strong victory when the results are announced on May 2.
Another key promise is a monthly cash aid of Rs 2,000 to homemakers and hiking the social welfare pension to Rs 3,000.
Tharoor, represented by Senior Advocate Vikas Pahwa, sought discharge in the case, saying there was no evidence against him to prove the offence punishable under either section 498A or 306 of IPC.
Rahul wants to send a strong message to BJP, end factional politics in the Kerala unit.
The BJP is still not a serious threat to the two major fronts in Thiruvananthapuram's sub-urban areas but has gained enough strength to spoil the party for either.
Sreedharan's entry into the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is being seen as a major boost for the party in election-bound Kerala. The state has been ruled by the LDF and the Congress-led UDF alternately for the past many years.
The KCA backed out of the series after the state government decided to conduct an army recruitment rally at the Greeenfield International Stadium, Karyavattom, during the same period.
Tharoor was in Kochi to interact with people of various walks of life as part of collecting inputs for the UDF manifesto for the upcoming Kerala assembly elections.
