Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) is considering the introduction of Artificial Intelligence for document verification and the conduct of examinations. It has decided to avail the technical help of the Digital University Kerala for this.

Currently, lakhs of documents like qualification and experience certificates are being uploaded by candidates on the PSC website. The proposed AI integration will speed up the document verification process.

PSC Chairman Dr. M R Baiju recently held a primary-level meeting with the Digital University Vice Chancellor to implement the reform. The PSC and the University will sign a pact for the same soon.

The candidates are required to upload their original certificates while submitting applications for posts notified on or after January one. Earlier, the PSC had done away with the requirement in the wake of Covid. Then, the candidates need only to upload an affidavit in this regard. The Commission has now decided to withdraw the relaxation.
