New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the last date to register without fine for the board exam for students in Classes 9 and 11 during the academic year 2024–25 to October 25. The fees could be paid over the next four days. Applications could also be submitted with a fine from October 26 to 29.

The CBSE had earlier informed us that the deadline to apply for these exams would end on October 12. However, more time has been allotted considering the requests in this regard from many places, said CBSE officials.

However, students will not be allowed to change the subjects they choose for the exams now, the CBSE authorities added.
