Kerala varsity invites applications for PG Diploma courses

Kerala University has invited applications for various postgraduate Diploma courses. The last date of application is December 30.

The selection is based on an entrance test. For more details and to download the application form, log on to the university website.

The following are the programmes offered: -
1. Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychological Counselling
The duration of the course is 12 months. Those who studied at least one full paper in the specific branches of Psychology and have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree can apply.

2. Post-Graduate Diploma in Paleography& Conservation of Manuscripts
The course is conceived as a bridge programme to introduce learners to the basic awareness of Paleography and Manuscriptology, including the study and research of palm-leaf manuscripts, and develop skills in these disciplines. The topics, especially that on the origin and evolution of ancient scripts and languages, will greatly benefit historical researchers, computer programmers engaged in the digital humanities sector, lawyers who need to examine ancient documents, anthropologists, linguists and the like.

Eligibility: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with 50% marks. Relaxation for SC/ST category students as per university norms.
The PGDPCM is a one-year course consisting of two semesters.
