Rajinikanth's next movie with director Karthik Subbaraj has been in news for quite sometime now. And the latest reports suggest that actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Simran will be joining the Superstar.

Confirming the news, Sun Pictures, tweeted, "We are happy to announce that for the first time, @SimranbaggaOffc and @Nawazuddin_S will be acting with Superstar Rajini in #SuperstarWithSunPictures."

Reportedly, Simran will play the role of Rajini's wife in the movie and rumors has it that Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be the villain. Earlier, there were also reports that Vijay Sethupathi will be playing antagonist's role. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding that.

There were also reports, which said Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil will be playing a significant character in the movie as Rajinikant's aide in the film.

The yet-to-be-titled film also has Bobby Simha, Sananth Reddy, Yogi Babu and many other actors in the cast.
