The teaser of Ranjith's Leela, starring Biju Menon in the lead, has been released online.
The 40-second video introduces Biju Menon as Kuttiyappan - the film's male lead.
The film, based on Unni R's short story, narrates the strange relationship between a mahout (Kuttiyappan) and an orphaned girl (Leela).
The script and dialogues of Leela were penned by Unni R. This is for the first time that Ranjith is directing a film which was not scripted by him.
Leela will be produced by Ranjith himself under the banner of Capitol Theater.
