Kochi: Actor-turned-director Geetu Mohan Das shared the first look poster of her new film Moothon, starring Nivin Pauly in the lead role, on her Facebook page on Monday.
The poster reveals one of the most stunning makeovers in the recent times as Nivin Pauly is seen in a nearly unrecognizable avatar. The poster depicts Nivin with scarred eyebrow, a nose ring and a stud earring.
Announcing her new project, Geetu introduced the "exceptional crew" of 'Moothon', which includes her husband and director Rajeev Ravi, Bollywood director Anurag Kashyap, artist and sculptor Riyas Komu, editor Ajithkumar Balagopalan and Bollywood production designer Wasiq Khan.
Geetu said she had collaborated with Kashyap for writing dialogues for the film. Later, Kashyap, on his Facebook page, wrote he is 'proud to announce his first Malayalam film'.
However, they haven't revealed whether Kashyap, who is also known for his acting skills, is portraying a role in the movie.
This ambitious project will be produced by Aanand L. Rai, Ajay Rai and Alan McAlex.
Nivin Pauly's next will be a romantic film opposite Trisha called Hey Jude and the shooting will commence in February. He also has three upcoming Tamil projects.
