Nyla Usha has endeared herself among the people of Kerala through her roles in Kunjananthante Kada, Punyalan Agarbathis and Fireman. The bubbly girl is also an RJ with a fan base among audiences in the Gulf region.
Nyla is all set to don another hat. She is thrilled to be the host of ‘Minute to Win It’, a television show that starts on Saturday evening on Mazhavil Manorama. She speaks about her debut as a television show host.
“I have been waiting for ‘Minute to Win It’ with a lot of expectations,” Nyla said. “I enjoy being a radio jockey than an actor. You get more opportunities to mingle with the people when you work on radio or television. In cinema, you are just a character. As a presenter, you can be yourself,” she added.
“I always liked to present programmes that entertained and made people think. I had received a few offers to be a host with the Mazhavil Manorama. I could not take them up for some reason or the other. The time has come now,” she said.
“Malayalis in the Gulf region know me better as an RJ. I hope to be more acceptable in Kerala as the host of ‘Minute to Win It’,” she added.
