While all eyes are on the new male host of 'D4 Dance' season 3, co-host Pearle Maaney is not worried about it. The lady with lovely curls and sharp eyes is excited to be back in the limelight with yet another season of Mazhavil Manorama's popular dance reality show.
The young sensation, who manages to find time for family, friends and fans, speaks to Onmanorama about the new season of the show, her new co-host and more.
Back with D4 family
There was not much of a break between D1 and D2, but after finishing D2 we have had a gap of around six months. I felt the break was much-needed but it is really good to be back. Whenever I used to go for any event or function, people used to come to me and ask when will season 3 launch and whether we are going to return with more fun.

When you take a break, people change and earn new kinds of experiences. Be it Priya chechi (Priyamani), Prasanna Master, Neerav or me, we have all had time to do a lot many things and reflect on ourselves in our own way.
Suspense surrounding new co-host
Let that suspense remain. When I posted the show's promo video on my Facebook page asking people to guess the new host, I got tremendous response from everyone, with the guesswork ranging to even Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor.

Initially, we were all apprehensive about the new male host but he surprised us with his performances. He has his own way of handling each situation. I think what amused me most is that he makes me laugh so easily, whether it's on air or off air. I am usually someone who make others laugh but the new anchor manages to pull my leg and makes sure the show goes on with full energy.
Missing GP
Undoubtedly I will miss working with GP in 'D4 Dance'. But we stay in touch and consult each other's opinion on several matters.
Get ready for a blast
When compared to the first two seasons, D3 will be different. Even anchoring in season 3 has become challenging. We have a really fresh package with a totally different format. Even the scores are set differently and our interactions with participants is also different.

After bringing out 'Thengakola', people were wondering whether we would stop creating such things or if we regret doing such stuff. All I can say is that you can witness yet another blast. Just a few days back, I created something similar to 'Thengakola'. This is what we do. It's all part of the job and I enjoy what I do.
Fans are strength
When I become a fan of someone, I am a hardcore fan. I kind of know how happy one becomes when they get a comment or message from me personally. Perhaps that's the reason why I handle my page myself. I get a lot of messages each day and I try my best to respond to each of them. It's kind of a mutual happiness. When they are happy, I am happy. After all, your fans are your friends who ultimately become your strength.
