Kochi: Pulsar Suni, the main suspect in the Malayalam actress attack case, was reportedly present at the shooting location of the movie in which the attacked actress is playing a role.
The production controller of the movie Manoj Karanthoor told Onmanorama that he first met Suni during the movie's shooting in Goa.
''I have no association with Pulsar Suni. When the driver of the movie set took a break from work, Suni came in as a replacement. Suni was present on the sets throughout the movie shooting in Goa. He never made a wrong move on the sets,” he said.
The actress was waylaid and harassed while she was travelling in the film unit's car from Thrissur to Kochi.

''Friday night, Suni came to the studio asking for money and I gave him the amount. And when I asked him if he was going to pick the actress, he said Martin would go as he had some other work. As the actress was coming from home, we didn't bother to send one more person to accompany her.
''I came to know about the incident only when executive controller Anoop told me. Immediately, I reached Lal's house'', he said.
When asked about an actor's reported involvement in the case, he said, ''I don't think it's true. They are baseless allegations.''
