File photo: Salman with ArpitaCash and valuables worth Rs 3.25 lakh were stolen from actor Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan and Aayush's apartment in Pacific Heights in Bandra on Monday.
According to police, Arpita and her husband Aayush Sharma realised the theft only on Sunday, after they returned home from a holiday.
A case has been registered under the IPC Section 381. Not only valuables and cash are missing from the residence, many designer clothes have also been robbed, said police.
"We are looking for a maid named Aafsa, who was working for the family. She has been missing since July 30, and we suspect the theft must have taken place a lot earlier than Sunday," an officer from Khar Police Station told media.
Arpita and husband Aayush Sharma had been blessed with a baby boy, Ahil, earlier this year.
