Selvaraghavan (left) and Suriya.In a surprising announcement, Tamil actor Suriya and director Selvaraghavan Thursday declared that they will be teaming up for the actor's 36th film.
The movie will be produced by Dream Warrior Pictures. It is the first time that Suriya is working with Selvaraghavan for a film.
At a time when Suriya is doing commercial films back to back, him committing dates for Selvaraghavan, who is experimental in his films, is indeed a surprising news.
The announcement, which came at 9pm Thursday, resulted in #Suriya36 trending on Twitter across India.
The confirmation on the project came 30 minutes after actor Vijay announced on Twitter that his 61st film will be directed by Atlee.
Looks like the stars are in the race together. Who's complaining anyway? :)
