Kumarakom: Rains brought some stars to the backwaters of Kumarakom this weekend. The charm of Kerala’s unending rains lured in south Indian heartthrob Suriya and his actor-wife Jyothika. The star couple’s children, Diya and Dev, and Jyothika’s sister Nagma also accompanied them.
The family reached the Kumarakom Lake Resort in the afternoon on July 15 and spent the entire day cruising the backwaters around R-Block, Chithira, Pathiramanal and Thanneermukkam areas.
The houseboat served a delicious meal for the high-profile customers, complete with the famed pearlspot (karimeen).
They made the most of their holidays by camping near the lake by the resort until Sunday afternoon. They left for Kochi in the evening to catch a flight to Chennai.
Resort general manager D Neelakandan, resident manager Sanjay Varma and administration and security manager T.T. Anil Kumar were busy overseeing the arrangements for the celebrity clients.
