Mumbai: Known for his smooth dance moves and awe-inspiring action sequences, actor Tiger Shroff, who is prepping for his second film Baaghi, says he had to go through extensive training in Kalaripayattu for the actioner.
Kalaripayattu is a martial art form which originated as a style in Kerala.
"I underwent extensive training in Kalaripayattu before we started shoot as the martial art form is an important part of the film. It was a thoroughly enriching experience," Tiger said in statement.
Directed by Sabbir Khan, Baaghi also stars actress Shraddha Kapoor.
Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film's trailer will release on March 14.
