Vijay's latest movie Theri created box office records within 48 hours from the time of its release.
The movie grossed a new record in North America by collecting a whopping $251,123 from just its premiere shows. With this, the Vijay starrer has broken the record of Thala Ajith's Vedalam.
Meanwhile, Theri has also managed to break the box office record of Vikram's magnum opus I, according to a report. Going by this rate, Theri is all set to break many other box office records of Tamil movies.
Directed by Atlee, Theri also stars Amy Jackson, Samantha, baby Nainika, Prabhu and Raadhika Sarathkumar.
