Director Sujoy Ghosh, who raised Hindi thrillers to the extent of art with Kahaani is back with a bang. Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh has released worldwide and fans all over the world are excited to see what director Sujoy Ghosh has to offer them this time.
In Kahaani 2, while Vidya Balan plays the role of a 36-year-old woman, Durga Rani Singh, wanted for kidnapping and murder, Arjun Rampal plays sub-inspector Inderjeet Singh.
Plot: Vidya Sinha, a harrowed, a middle class working mum from Chandan Nagar in West Bengal lives with her handicapped teenage daughter, Mini. One fine day, Mini goes missing and Vidya meets with an accident. Then comes Indrajit, the cop-on-the-case, who finds that Vidya Sinha resembles Durga Rani, a school clerk from Kalimpong, who is a fugitive-on-the-run.
