When it comes to A.R. Rahman's compositions, we, music buffs, will take anything we can get. So when the official trailer of Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada featured a bit of his creative masterpiece for the film, Thalli Pogathey, it almost broke the internet.
And now, we can all stop playing the one-minute trailer on loop, as the maestro has released a full version of the song. Yes, that's right: Thalli Pogathey is here in full.
Penned by Thamarai, the track, which framed the score for the trailer, features singer Sid Sriram, Aparna Narayanan and rap vocalist Aaryan Dinesh Kanagaratnam. According to Sid, “The song is about a guy’s longing to express himself to a girl; but not knowing how to go about it and thus, having an inner conversation with himself."
Written by Gautham Menon, the upcoming Tamil romantic thriller has Silambarasan and Manjima Mohan in the lead.
A few days ago, the makers of the film had released a cover version of Thalli Pogathey, sung by Simbu, and it had created quite a buzz on Facebook and Twitter.
So what are you waiting for, plug your headphones and soak it all in the ARR magic.
