Chefs pitch in, 'Cook for Kerala' drive to raise funds

The 'Cook for Kerala' campaign which was begun to help the flood-hit Kerala is winning hearts on social media. Keralite chefs from all over the world have joined hands to do their bit for those who lost everything in the recent flood.
The 'Cook for Kerala' campaign was initiated by Suresh Pillai, executive chef at the Raviz Hotel, Kollam.
The chefs would organise food festivals, theme dinners or elaborate 'Onasadhya' (Onam feast) at their respective restaurants or communities, and would donate the profit collected from them to the CM's distress relief fund.
Earlier 'Cook for Syria' campaign was conducted by the chefs in Europe to provide aid for the millions of children who either got severely injured or orphaned in the Syrian war.
