New Delhi: Advocate B.A. Aloor, who represented Govindachamy at Supreme Court Thursday in the Soumya murder case, said there was no evidence to prove that Govindachamy murdered the victim.

He went on to say that the case was a drama scripted by the police and prosecution. He added that an application will be submitted to transfer Govindachamy to some jail in Tamil Nadu, his native state, claiming he is not safe in Kerala jails.

Aloor told Manorama News that the investigation was prejudiced. He also alleged that the verdicts by lower courts were driven by emotions.

Aloor had represented Govindachamy in the fast track court and the Kerala High Court as well.
