They look transparent, but once applied on lips, they offer a natural glossy pink shine and come in various names such as 'Minute maid', 'Flame red' and 'Doll powder'.
Another fascinating aspect of the lipstick, according to reports is that the pink colour of the lipstick varies depending on the applicants body temperature. Way too interesting right ! They are not only moisturizing, but extremely pleasing for the eye too.
Kailijumei's jelly flower lipstick, consists of natural ingredients like candelilla resin, cocoa butter, beeswax, and lavender oil, which provides the moisturizing properties. The product has been priced $30 per piece and is sold through the online store eBay.
With so much demand for the product, the brand has sold out its entire collection. The company has warned customers to be careful about its counterfeit products that is currently available in market as it can posses harmful chemicals. However, pre-orders for the original product is available at eBay.
According to a news website, the science behind the change in color is that the lipstick contains a colorless dye called as “Red 27”. When this dye comes into contact with moisture and skin, the pH of the dye changes, which turns to pink in color. Products such as MAC's color changing lip balm uses this technique and it is already available in the market.
