JAC results out: Here's how to check them

The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released results for the class VIII board exams on its official website.

Here's how to check your Jharkhand board class VIII exam results in 2019:

Log in to the official JAC website at jac.nic.in

Once the home page loads, click on the link saying 'JAC results'

Enter your roll number to view your results

You can also check the results at jacresultonline.com, by entering your district and school name. However, at the time of writing, both jac.nic.in and jacresultonline.com were down. If these don't work for you, you can also find results at jac.jharkhand.gov.in and jharresults.nic.in.

Students can log in using their roll numbers. The results can also be found via mobile app (Android) provided students have pre-registered their mobile numbers.

According to the JAC, nearly 4.9 lakh students wrote the exam this year, with 13.91 % of candidates scoring above 80% (grade A+). The most common grade was Grade A, for students who scored between 60% and 80%, with 148517 or 30.32% of students scoring this grade.
