Thiruvananthapuram: The Vigilance court here on Wednesday rejected a petition seeking a probe against additional chief secretary, home, Nalini Netto for alleged misuse of power.
The petition by one Satheesh Vasanth had alleged forgery of documents by Netto to remove T.P. Senkumar from the post of state police chief and hoarding of recommendations by chief secretary for actions against vigilance director Jacob Thomas.
The senior IAS officer was accused of manipulating and sitting on the file that recommended action against Jacob Thomas in connection with the allegation that the latter took up private job without government permission.
