Kerala BJP president refuses 'Y' category protectionThiruvananthapuram: Kerala BJP president Kummanam Rajasekharan on Friday informed the Centre that he does not need the Y-category security, accorded to him recently.
He said he did not want VIP security since the lives of ordinary BJP activists were in danger.
Center had granted Y-category security cover to Kummanam Rajasekharan, former state president P.K. Krishnadas, senior leaders K. Surendran and M.T. Ramesh recently.
