Lie-detector tests were held after his family raised suspicion about the involvement of his friends and aides in the actor's mysterious death.
The six people - Mani's driver Peter, manager Baby, friends Anish, Murukan, Vipin and Arun. They were all with him at his outhouse in Chalakudy, from where the actor was brought in a serious condition to a hospital at Kochi on March 5. He died the next day.
