India's limited overs cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's wife Sakshi Dhoni has been named in a multi-crore fraud case. An FIR has been registered against her by police.
Sakshi and three others are co-directors of a firm Rhiti MSD Almode Private Limited, which has shares in Sportsfit World Private Limited. Sportsfit is co-directed by one Dennis, and his father Vikas Arora owns 39 percent share in the company.
According to reports, Rhiti MSD Almode decided to buy Vikas Arora's shares. In his complaint, Dennis has alleged that the directors of Rhiti have not made the full payment of Rs 11 crore for buying the shares and have missed the deadline for clearing the dues.
Arun Pandey, one of the directors of Rhiti, told the media that they have paid in excess than the shares Vikas Arora have transferred and that Sakshi should not be named as she left the company a year ago.
Sakshi has not made any public statements on the issue and the police are investigating the matter. There is no confirmation of Sakshi's involvement in the case.
