M. S. Dhoni

Mahendra Singh Dhoni's successful journey from the rustic Ranchi town to cornering glory on cricket fields has been simply sensational. But the one thing that has remained unchanged is his humble nature.

Captain Cool has yet again proved that not he is not the one who forgets his roots by treating Thomas, a chaiwala from Kharagpur railway station, to a grand dinner. Dhoni was a regular customer of Thomas when he used to work as a South-Eastern Railway ticket collector in Kharagpur.

Thomas traveled to Kolkata when he came to know that Dhoni was in the city as Jharkhand skipper to take part in the Vijay Hazare Trophy one-day competition. Dhoni instantly recognized Thomas and later treated him to a grand dinner at the team hotel. Later, Thomas said he would rename his cafe as Dhoni Tea Stall.

Dhoni had recently traveled in a train along with his Jharkhand teammates to play in the Hazare Trophy.
