Mumbai: Antonio German's late strike, his fifth goal in four matches, gave Kerala Blasters a 1-1 draw at Mumbai City in the ISL here on Thursday but the team's failure to clinch all three points leaves them on the brink, with just two games remaining.
Juan Aguilera's goal in the 25th minute gave Mumbai a 1-0 lead at half-time. The goal came from a Sony Norde corner-kick, which was punched away by Sandip Nandy, but the ball fell kindly for Aguilera whose shot found the back of the net.
The Blasters missed a host of chances in the second half but equalised in the 88th minute through German. Deepak Mandal whipped in a cross and Subash Singh's clearing header went straight to German and the Englishman slammed home, to add his name on the scoresheet for the fourth match running.

However, the replays clearly showed Lalchhuanmawia Fanai had played Dagnall onside.
Blasters remain rock-bottom with 12 points from 12 matches, while Mumbai have 13. NorthEast United, 17 points from 12 games, currently occupy the last spot to the knockout stages.
