The report of Justice Srikrishna Commission that recommends fixing the minimum annual fee for self-financing BTech/BE courses at Rs 79,000 up to Rs 1.89 lakh has been approved by the executive committee of the All India Council of Technical Education.
The first session was scheduled to be held on April 21, 24, 25, 29 and May 1 and 4, 2022. It will now be held from June 20-29.
The admission to the engineering and pharmacy courses is based on the Kerala entrance test scheduled on June 26.
Earlier, it was announced that the last date of application for the first session of the entrance was March 31.

There is no minimum-mark restriction for the JEE–Main. However, in case more criteria are introduced during the time of the admission, then the candidates need to abide by them.
Around 2.5 lakh candidates, from all the categories, who scores top marks for the first paper in JEE– ains would be eligible to attempt the JEE–Advanced for admission to the IITs. The admission criteria based on the Mains and the Advanced exams are different.

The refund of the fee paid to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), for admission to Engineering, Architecture and B Pharm courses has begun. The eligible candidates need to apply for refund.
