Officials of RCB and the event management group were arrested after a stampede that killed 11 people in Bengaluru.

The incident was reportedly triggered by a combination of factors, including overcrowding, poor coordination between organisers and police, inadequate security arrangements, and a hastily announced victory parade, as per PTI.
The incident happened on Wednesday while people were trying to enter the stadium to participate in the celebration event.
During the chaos, some people fell on the ground, some got injured while trying to scale huge gates to gain entry into the stadium.
The CM also announced a compensation of ₹10 lakh each to the kin of the deceased and free treatment for the injured.
There have been IPL celebrations in the past as well, like in Kolkata last year when KKR won but nothing happened there, said Devajik Saikia.
The deadly crowd surge happened while thousands gathered to join the celebration marking RCB’s maiden IPL title win.
Bengaluru beat Punjab Kings in the tournament's final match on Tuesday.
