K K Shailaja
K K Shailaja is an Indian politician and is a member of the Communist Party of India. She represents the Mattanur constituency in the 15th Kerala Legislative Assembly. She had served as the Minister of Health and Family Welfare in the first Pinarayi Vijayan ministry from 2016 to 2021. In June(2020), Shailaja was honoured by the United Nations for her efforts to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.
The court also directed the investigation team to examine the petitioner's contention that the offence of forgery for harming someone's reputation should also be incorporated in the case.
