Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi gets himself a BMW adventure bike

Not just in Tamil, Vijay Sethupathi has a large fan following in Malayalam too. Sethupathi, who is always humble and doesn't go overboard with celebrations over his films’ success, is different when it comes to owning vehicles too. Those among stars who are least crazy about vehicles, the Makkal Selvan has just bought a BMW G310GS, an entry-level adventure motorcycle.

Sethupathi bought his first luxury car - a BMW - only last year. BMW Motorrad announced through its Facebook page that Sethupathi is now the owner of a BMW bike. Earlier, Sourav Ganguly and Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas too had bought a BMW G310GS.

The BMW G310GS is the smallest member of the GS family and shares its engine and chassis with the BMW G310R. It is also one of the first bikes that BMW Motorrad made outside Europe.

The G310GS is an adventure bike that is powered by a 313cc, single-cylinder liquid cooled engine. It churns out 34 bhp of peak power and 28 Nm of peak torque. The ex-showroom price of the bike is Rs 3.49 lakh.
