New Delhi: Students sitting for CBSE 10 and 12 class term-1 exams should use pens to answer the questions. No other writing tools will be allowed.

The OMR (optical mark recognition) answer sheets will have an additional circle (field) to help students make corrections.

The practical exams of the first term will be held in the same schools where the student has been studying. Schools can submit the list of students sitting for the exams till Saturday (Oct 9). A detailed time table will be published later.

CBSE decided to hold two term exams this year in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

(Term exams refer to those held at the end of each term or semester.)
