Thiruvananthapuram: All educational institutions, including professional colleges will remain closed in Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram district on Friday due to the heavy rains here, the District Collector informed.
The district has been experiencing torrential downpour since Thursday evening.
District Collector Navjot Singh Khosa has also prohibited vehicles from travelling along hilly terrain until otherwise notified.
