PG Diploma in Public Health Management: Apply by June 16

The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW) has invited applications for admission to the one-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management. The objective of the course is to train an efficient managerial workforce for the public health sector.

Applications can be submitted till June 16.

The applications, along with a late fee of Rs 500, will be accepted till June 23. The sample format of the application form and complete details are given on the website (nihfw.org).

Classes will begin on August 1. The nine months of classroom studies would be followed by three months of project work and field study. The total fee is Rs 2.5 lakh which includes hostel accommodation and food.

The NIHFW is an autonomous institute functioning in New Delhi under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Eligibility

Those with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree either in medicine, AYUSH, dental, nursing, pharmacy, health science, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, natural/life sciences, management, social sciences, social work, economics or statistics or other equivalent qualification can apply.

Preference for applicants with service experience in the health/development sector.
