The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) is offering an annual scholarship of Rs 48,000 each for those students who have secured admission to BTech, MBBS, MBA, MSc (Geology/Geophysics) full-time regular programmes for the 2022-23 academic year.
Online applications can be submitted on the scholar portal of the public sector company till July 8.
The share of scholarships is 500 for General and Economically Weaker Section categories, another 500 for Other Backward Classes and 1,000 for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) sections.
Eligibility
Students should have secured a minimum of 60 per cent marks or equivalent grade (6/10) in the qualifying exam (plus-two/degree). The students should consistently score these marks in each semester. The applicant should not be more than 30 years of age and the annual income should be less than Rs 2 lakh. For students in the SC/ST category, the annual income can be up to Rs 4.5 lakh.
In each category, 50 per cent scholarships are for girl students. The selection is based on the total marks of the specified qualifying exam.
