Being the first major movie release of actor Asif Ali in 2017, Honey Bee 2, is also one of his biggest releases so far.
The film, directed by Jean Paul Lal hit the theaters on Thursday and opened in 200 screens in India. The movie has collected Rs 1.93 crore with a good occupancy on its first day in Kerala.
According to reports, Honey Bee 2 is Asif Ali's best career opening. In two days, the movie collected Rs 14.35 lakhs from Kochi multiplexes alone.
Produced by Lal under the banner of Lal Creations, Honey Bee 2 has its script written by the director himself and has almost most of the cast and crew members of its prequel in it.
