The engagement is said to happen by November and wedding immediately after that. Reports also have that the engagement will be held in a Christian tradition while the wedding will follow a typical Tamil ritual. It's also said that Nayanthara has committed a few projects and the actress is waiting to finish before the big day.

Earlier, Nayanthara won an award at a show and while receiving the award, Nayanthara gave an acceptance speech calling Vignesh her 'fiancé'.

She said, "I thank my mom, dad, brother and 'fiancé' for constantly supporting me. This awards show is a lot different from all the film awards shows that I had attended so far. I will go back home even more inspired after seeing all the women achievers around me."
