Actress Rinku Karmakar popularly known as Kamla Tai of Hindi soap opera 'Ye Vaada Raha', recently shocked everyone by shaving her head.
According to reports, it was Rinku’s idea to go bald. “Let us make Kamla Tai bald,” she suggested to her team. The only issue Rinku faced was convincing her real life husband Kiran Karmarkar.

"I was fed up of wearing a wig as the pins that held it together would prick and hurt my scalp. So I told my unit that it would be better if I went bald. They conveyed it to the makers, who were shocked to hear this. When they asked me, I told them that taking such a step would enhance the character," IANS quoted Rinku as saying.
