Maheshinte Prathikaaram fame Aparna Balamurali is the latest Malayalam actress to have joined Kollywood.
The teaser of her Tamil debut movie 8 Thottakkal has been released online and it introduces the actress in the role of a journalist named Meera. Debut actor Vetri will be playing the lead.
Reportedly, the movie, directed by Sri Ganesh, is about the after-effects of a crime on a middle-class family. Sri Ganesh has earlier worked as an assistant to director Mysskin.
