Kannur: S.S. Rajamouli, the director of Baahubali, has said that Padma Shri was the greatest honour he could get. The director and his crew shared happiness with Manorama News, which took the news of the award to Kannavam forest in Kannur, the location of the second part of the movie, Bahubali.
Since mobile phones were out of range in the deep forest, Rajamouli got the news of the award from Manorama News team. Amidst busy shooting, he did not first believe the news that he had won Padma Shri. Slowly, but still surprised, he shared joy with others.
The film’s crew and its producer then wished the director of the mega movie, Baahubali.
Shooting in Kannavam forest for the second part of Baahubali will last a month.
