Actor Babu Antony, who once thrilled the fans of action to the core, proves his fan base crosses the barriers of language and culture. The actor made a post in his Facebook account on Tuesday sharing an incident where he met a foreign fan. Interestingly, the American fan claimed to learn Malayalam after watching his movies like Chantha.

The actor was sitting next to the American while attending an Onam function as chief guest in Austin, Texas. After sometime, Antony asked the American whether he was bored as programme was in Malayalam. He smiled and replied saying he is fluent Malayalam that he can read, write and speak Malyalam, much to the actor's surprise.

Babu Antony was further stunned to know that he had watched most movies by the actor. “He continued that he was in Calicut for about 3 years researching for his Phd and at one point the movie "chandha" filming was going on. He also said that has seen almost all my movies.” (sic)

"Watching your movies also helped me learn Malayalam, so you are my teacher too", he told the actor with a smile.

According to Antony, the person is a Sanskrit professor in University of Texas, Austin, US and product of the Harvard University.

Babu Antony, a martial arts expert, has a cult following after his spine-tingling actions scenes in Chantha, Kadal, Dada, Bharanakoodam, Kambolam.
