Dileep-Kavya Madhavan wedding was perhaps the most talked about topic on social media platforms over the last couple of days. Although gossip mills were abuzz with the rumors of them dating each other for some time now, the wedding came as a shock to many.
The marriage was kept a secret affair till the very last moment. In fact, Dileep and Kavya invited most of the guests on the wedding eve.
Once the wedding photos started flooding the internet, social media opened a new file to investigate – the curious case of the missing celebrities! There were some actors, who were known to be close to the stars, but weren’t seen at the wedding. Among the absentee list, the most discussed name was that of Bhavana.
Bhavana, who was once a close of friend of both Dileep and Kavya, was nowhere to be seen. Apparently, things went a bit sour between the duo and Bhavana due to the latter’s allegiance to Dileep ex-wife, Manju Warrier.
There were also reports that Bhavana knew about Dileep-Kavya affair and it was she who revealed it to Manju, sowing the seeds of an ‘unofficial rift’ between them.
However, Bhavana denied the rumors outright and confirmed that she knew nothing about Dileep-Kavya wedding.
“I have not made any comments, just yet. All that news is fabricated. Nobody has even contacted me. After seeing those reports, I even called up a few online sites, asking them to take it off. If they don't, I will proceed legally,” Bhavana said.
''Who should be invited or not is their personal choice. It doesn’t even affect me,” she said.
When asked her about not being included in their guests’ list, Bhavana said: ''Like I said, it's up to them to decide. They would have definitely invited those who are close to them. It's their choice. I have no concerns about it.''
A still from the movie 'Kuttikalundu Sookshikkuka'The actress laughed off rumors about her own wedding date and said, “I have not decided anything. Have a few projects lined up. I have to finish them and plan accordingly.
Bhavana is gearing up for the release of Kuttikalundu Sookshikkuka, alongside Anoop Menon. ''It’s a thriller with two kids playing the leads. Although Anoop plays their dad and I play the role of their mom, we both don't have much combination scenes.
Bhavana plays the role of a mother in 'Kuttikalundu Sookshikkuka'“The film more or less revolves around them and the importance of survival and change. The movie is indeed a special one for me as its director, Kalavoor Ravikumar, has worked with me as a scriptwriter in Nammal and Hridhayathil Sookshikan. He is someone who gives a lot of freedom to the artistes.''
The charming actress has no hesitancy to play a mother’s role. ''It's a conventional mother role and I have done such characters a couple of times. The kids are really professional. Sanoop and Siddhrath have done an amazing job.”
Poster of the movie 'Honey Bee'Currently, Bhavana is working on the sequel of Honey Bee and is excited to be back with the team. “It's an absolute team work. The first look poster of the movie has skyrocketed the expectations of the audience and we hope the film do them justice,” she said.
Unlike her counterparts in cinema, Bhavana doesn’t even have a social media account. “I consider private life to be more important than going social. But there are many page by fans’ associations. I am indeed grateful to them as they support people like me simply out of love,” the actress concluded.
