Kochi: Preparations for the wedding of Malayalam actors Dileep-Kavya Madhavan's were carried out in utmost secrecy.

The Vedanta Hotel in Kochi - the venue of the wedding - was booked for a film pooja. Even the guests were invited for the pooja. They were intimated about the wedding only late on Thursday evening, via text messages. Most of the people who received the SMSes expressed surprise.

However, megastars including Mohanlal and Mammotty were directly called up by the couple, informing them about the wedding. Mammootty, who was in Chennai, promptly returned to Kochi. Mohanlal, who is shooting for Major Ravi's film in Rajasthan, could not make it in time for the wedding.
Though the mediapersonnel were given access to the venue, the reporters were also informed later.
