Last year, Nivin Pauly and Vineeth Sreenivasan came together for Oru Vadakkan Selfie and kept the box office ringing and now the duo are back again with Jacobinte Swargarajyam for this Vishu.
“Jacobinte Swargarajyam is a heart-warmer on family ties and will be a treat for families this Vishu”, says Dinesh Nair who plays a pivotal role in the movie.
The actor, who was the casting director of Vineeth's earlier movie Thira, has taken up the same job in this movie too.
“Jacobinte Swargarajyam is based on a real-life incident that occurred in Vineeth’s friend’s family. When Vineeth told me about his requirements for characters, it was not easy to find people based in Dubai to act in the movie. When you watch the movie, you will get to see a few characters from other countries like Arab, Africa, and Bangladesh.”
On replacing Gautam Menon with Ashwin Kumar, Dineesh says, “Due to Chennai floods, Gautam Menon couldn't make it for the shoot and we were in a crisis. That's when Ashwin was roped in for the role. He is a promising actor and I believe he will be an asset to Malayalam film in coming days.”
