Actor Jayaram and the crew of his upcoming movie 'Aadupuliyattam' have donated Rs 50,000 to the family of Noushad, who died last week while trying to save the lives of two drainage workers in Kozhikode.
The team handed over the cheque to district collector U.V. Jose at the movie's shooting location at Ramapuram in Pala.
A bid to save the lives of two strangers cost auto driver P. Naushad his own life.
Naushad, a native of Vengeri in Kozhikode, and two cleaning workers were choked to death after they fell into a manhole in Kozhikode on Thursday.
