Director Midhun Manuel Thomas has announced his next directorial and it is curiously titled as Alamara (Almirah).
The intriguing first look has the movie's name written in the shape of a wooden cupboard and it smells of a wedding. You can see homemade snacks around the almirah – achappam, unniyappam, kuzhalappam; there's also a bunch of bananas and two wedding garlands hung over the cupboard. More than enough hints to believe that it revolves around a wedding.
Now, the cast. The movie will have Midhun's regular actors Sunny Wayne and Aju Varghese in the lead roles along with Renji Panicker. Suraj Venjaramoodu, Saiju Kurup, Indrans and Sudhi Koppa are also part of the cast. The story is by Mahesh Gopal and the screenplay by John Manthrickal.
Satheesh Kurup will handle the camera and Sooraj S. Kurup will be in charge of the music department. Lijo Paul, who has worked with Midhun in his earlier films, will be the editor in this Alamara too.
This will be Midhun's third film as the director after Aadu Oru Bheegara Jeevi Aanu of 2015 and Ann Maria Kalippilaanu which released earlier this year. Ann Maria Kalippilaanu's dubbed version was recently released as Pilla Rakshasi in Telugu.
