A report said the superstars will be appearing on screen together for the directorial debut of scriptwriter Udayakrishna who is basking in the success of his last film Pulimurugan.
Now, the scriptwriter Udayakrishna himself has come forward, revealing the truth. Talking to a daily, he said, ''I have not even thought about such a project. If something as big as this is happening, everyone would announce it in a big way, right?''
He further added that, ''It's a fake news created by someone and I am currently scripting a project with Mammootty in the lead.''
Udayakrishna is now busy scripting Mammootty's next film to be directed by Rajadhi Raja fame Ajai Vasudev.
The superstars were last seen together on screen in Malayalam's all-star film Twenty 20 that released in 2008. And we rest our case here!
