Acclaimed filmmaker Salim Ahamed has bagged the Padmarajan award for his film Pathemari starring Mammootty.
The award for the best short story has gone to EP Sreekumar's 'Adhvaana Vetta'.

The 24th Padmarajan awards, set up by the Padmarajan Memorial Trust for the best movie and the best short story, were announced on Thursday.
Pathemari narrates the troubles and turmoils faced by Mammootty's 'Pallikkal Narayanan' who migrated to the Gulf during the early 1960s, at the beginning of the Gulf boom.
